COVID-19: For Team Members

In this unprecedented health crisis, we at Navion Senior Solutions continue to marvel at our amazing team’s commitment to providing outstanding care to our residents every day.

For their safety and that of our residents, we ask all associates to abide by the following guidelines.

Guidelines

  • Wear face masks and other personal protective equipment. We have large PPE quantities to ensure you can safely perform your job.
  • There is one designated entrance at each location for all staff to enter and exit. Upon entering, there is a cleanroom where team members will change into clean clothes or work uniforms and receive appropriate PPE.
  • Please stay home when you are sick or experiencing significant respiratory disease symptoms. Our full-time associates receive paid time off to use when ill to ensure they continue receiving compensation.
  • Seek medical care if you feel sick with fever, cough, or have trouble breathing. Call ahead and report your recent travel and your symptoms.
  • When in the community, please follow the prescribed respiratory etiquette. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If there is no tissue readily available, cough or sneeze into the bend of your elbow.
  • Please wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer containing 60-95 percent alcohol.
  • Avoid all non-essential travel. If traveling is unavoidable, notify your supervisor of travel to CDC Warning Level 2 and 3 areas.
  • The CDC currently requires anyone traveling from Warning Level 3 countries to self-quarantine for 14 days.
  • Navion, along with the US government, recommends that individuals strongly consider postponing cruise ship travel to any location. If you were on a cruise in the past 14 days, notify your supervisor immediately.

COVID-Related Benefits

If you or a family member should test positive for COVID-19, you will receive extra paid time off. The additional benefit ensures that employees recovering from COVID-19—or who have family members that need their assistance—will not risk losing income. A weekly bonus plan is also in place.
